概要: Study of the confromational changes of proteins upon immobilization with coordination cages.
実験: Protein solutions and composites suspension were analyzed by Circular dichroism (CD).
結果と考察 : The signal of free proteins was observed, in agreement with literature. However, composites did not show any signal, despite our best effort. This was attributed to an internal filter effect, related to the very high absorbance of cages (e > 100 000 per M per cm) in the relevant spectral range.In conclusion, circular dichroism was not a suitable technique to analyze this system. The measurement helped us convince the reviewers of this fact.
